A Message from the CAAAN Chairs Dear Cornellian: You may be surprised to learn there are over 250 CAAAN members in Westchester assisting the Cornell admissions community in meeting its primary goal of identifying and attracting Westchester applicants. CAAAN members encourage students to consider Cornell as a place to continue their education by developing and maintaining contacts with students and faculty at Westchester secondary schools. The activities of CAAAN Westchester personalizes the admissions process through contacts with candidates for admission by answering questions about Cornell, and by providing a positive perspective on the University. If you are interested in becoming involved with CAAAN please contact us directly at CAAW Mail. In the meantime, look out for our activities for outreach to prospective students. Also, in future the CAAAN Committee will have a greater presence here on the Cornell Alumni Association of Westchester web page. We hope to soon publish the list of names of our nine CAAAN chairs and the neighborhoods they cover so that you may become more involved in CAAAN in your community and learn of our activities.
